The creative First Gold Charity Car Racing Day co-organised by First Gold and Power of Love on 11 January, 2014 in Chang Ping, Dong Guan gave attendants from Hong Kong and mainland China experience of fast driving like professionals and the joy of interactive communication. More importantly, the racing event served as a part in helping people with kidney diseases that Power of Love serves, cares for and supports.

Well & Well Financial Holdings Group representative presided over the opening ceremony before he turned into a professional racing car driver and led First Gold staff to drive on the speedways, displaying the charm of racing sports, adding to the atmosphere and whipping up players' spirit to compete for the champion.

Proceeds and funds raised by First Gold and donated by over two hundred players amounted to HKD 160,000 and would be channeled into POLCCF Dialysis Center.

As a non-profit co-founded by Power of Love and Centaline Charity Fund Limited, POLCCF Dialysis Center aims at loving communities and caring people with kidney diseases. It offers its full support to them and tries hard to give them proper treatment.

There are still misunderstandings and prejudice toward recovered patients with mental diseases in society, making it hard for them to find jobs and rejoin the society. Convinced that many of them are pretty competent but lack the opportunities to display their abilities, First Gold took part in the Love and Hope bazaar held in China Resources Building on 17 December, 2013 in a bid to restore their confidence and help them be self-reliant on the products they make wholeheartedly.

First Gold took part in the 2nd Annual CGSE International (Silver) Conference at invitation on 14 December, 2013, which centered on the latest developments and trends of the silver market and potential of silver trading. Topics included "Plan for Bullion Development in Qianhai", "Silver Bullion Trading Business" and "Building Warehouses of Precious Metals and Authentication Center" as well as exploring the possibilities of delivery and sale of precious metals in Shenzhen and Hong Kong respectively.

Mr. Haywood Cheung, the President of the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society and the keynote speaker of the event, shared with the attendants his analysis of the impact of free trade zones on the economy of Hong Kong and the mainland while First Gold also shared views on the prospects of investment in silver in an interview with Zhitongcaijing.

The seminar aimed to facilitate silver trading in Hong Kong and change Hong Kong into a gateway that connects eastern and western silver traders in ways that would enhance Hong Kong's position in the international precious metals market.

First Gold was awarded as a green office by "Green Office Awards Labeling Scheme" of World Green Organization and a "WeUnite Company" by United Nations Millennium Development Goals in the prize-awarding ceremony co-held by World Green Organisation and Junior Chamber International North District in Asia Society Hong Kong Center on 9 December, 2013 for the copmany's relentless commitment to green office, First Gold General was on the stage to accept the prizes.

The activity encouraged offices to go green in nine fields: reducing energy consumption, reducing water consumption, reducing rubbish, reducing paper consumption and printing, green procurement, information techonlogy application, transportation, education and green innovation. First Gold fulfilled over thirty standards in these nine areas and passed a stringent test on the scene. Criteria of presenting this label were based on the "Better World" nomination plan framework by Junior Chamber International Hong Kong. It was indeed a great honor that First Gold was among the firsts who have won accreditation of the plan.

To bring technology crimes to people's attention, the three-day-long seminar invited directors of law enforcement and technological tycoons from all over the world including Frank Law (head of cyber-security for the Technology Crime Division), Mark Spencer (President of Arsenal Consulting) and Julian Ho (Head of Operations ThinkSECURE Pte Ltd) to deliver speeches and share techniques of making the Internet a safer place. Topics included "Theft of Online Confidential Information", "Research on and Prevention of Cyber-Attacks", "Monitoring and Analysis of Social Media". The seminar benefited attendants so much by enhancing their awareness of Internet safety and their understanding of information technology.

The Seoul Broadcasting System TV team from South Korea finally won the First Cold Cup that was set up by First Gold to award team with the highest morale. The teams consisted of a maximum of nine persons and one of them must be the "passenger". They started from Matilda International Hospital gate and walked along Mount Kellett Road at the Peak, which covered 2.1 kilometers. Apart from the speed competition, there were a variety of awards, including Best Costume and Best Team Spirit, in order to commend teams for their innovations. This year's event attracted over 53 teams from different circles across the world, putting on different costumes and standing poised to give shots. All of them, shouldering their carefully designed sedans, competed with one another in a bid to contribute their part to charity. 

Established in 1975, Sedan Chair Charities Fund is a registered non-profit charity organization that aims to raise money for needy charities in Hong Kong that are not sponsored by the Community Chest, the Hong Kong Jockey Club and Hong Kong government. During the past 38 years, it has raised over HKD 63.3 million that went to 131 local and non-profit charities and those in need.

As a leading precious metals service provider, First Gold never wavers in shouldering cooperate responsibilities and has been offering support for charity activities within its scope. It sent three teams to compete in the Happy Three-Player Basketball Charity Game organized by Hear Talk Foundation and Love Neighbor Association at Mong Kok Stadium on 13 October, 2013 and worked with over 200 teams to raise funds.

First Gold team perfectly exhibited their sports talent, defeated others and final stood out to win the top two in the business group. First Gold staff wanted to make their own contributions and help those with hearing and language impediment by involvement into the game and donating.

Upholding the spirit of public welfare service, First Asia Merchants Bullion Limited has been committed to various charity events. On 27 September, 2013, First Gold again participated in the fund-raising activity of Dress Casual Day and encouraged its staff to donate money and partook in this charity event to play their part. First Gold would, as it has always been, donate all the money raised in the activity for philanthropic purposes.

Loving and respecting the elderly is one of the traditional virtues in Chinese culture. We consider caring for the elderly as one of our corporate responsibilities. Sponsoring the Dong Gua (Don't Suicide) Elderly Visit Program held by the SPS on 11 August, 2013, First Gold also sent volunteers to pay visits to the elderly with gourd soup. They did what they could do to show the power of love and demonstrate the Chinese traditional culture of loving and respecting the elderly.

Besides, our volunteers were also invited to attend the Dong Gua Charity Luncheon held at Maxim's Palace Chinese Restaurant by SPS on 12 August, 2013 and had lunch together with the elderly. They spent a joyful afternoon together with the delicacies. First Gold accepted the souvenir award from SPS on behalf of the company. The luncheon was a spectacle as Ms. Susanna Kwan, Mr. Bowie Wu, Ms. Wu Junli and Mr. Joe Junior also gave spectacular performances of singing and dancing which were a fest for the eyes of the elderly.

Putting the physical and mental health of its staff high on its agenda, First Gold has been encouraging its staff to participate in various health-building sports and enjoying exchanges with its counterparts, which is evidenced by its involvement in the Union Li Chun Association Cup Golf Tournament held by the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society at Phoenix Hill Golf Club on 13 July, 2013. During the competition, First Gold all showed their energy by competing with other players, which helped build their relationship and promote future development of bullion industry.
