First Gold convened a product release conference in the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on July 11, 2014 to announce that First Gold formally launched an entirely new gold product, First Gold Coin. Over 30 renowned press media from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan made a special trip to the conference for news coverage, which was really a spectacle.
 
On the day of the press conference, Mr. Steven Chan, the President of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society, Well & Well Financial Holdings Group and First Gold, hosted the opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony together, indicating that First Gold was moving ahead towards a new milestone.
 
Later, First Gold introduced the characteristics and advantages of "First Gold Coin" in great detail to all the attendees. First Gold presented the First Gold Coin delivered all the way from Switzerland. Succeeding to the successful TALKSHOW investments in 2012 and 2013, Alex Wong, a famous fund manager built on his successful practices on 28 June, 2014 by launching the Investment of Earning Ten Times the Amount of Investment TALKSHOW at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Wan Chai and First Gold, which has been offering support for all kinds of financial investment activities, even showed more support for this one. With more than twenty years of experience in investment, Alex Wong has devised new strategies and theories and shared his views on how to earn ten times the amount of investment with common and humorous examples.

The Director of First Gold Public Relations showed great support for the activity with her colleagues. All the attendants have learned a lot in the show.

The Second Employment Strategy Workshop held by First Gold on 9 June, 2014 ended up a resounding success where  speakers of the event shared with audience ideas of job-seeking strategies, CV writing, proper dressing at an interview and job hunters' can-do spirit. Company executives introduced respectively the operations and opportunities for promotion in each department. Upon completion, First Gold arranged several interviews for candidates to show their talent and skills, hoping that one day they will join the company as new blood.

Having been committed to nurturing talents, First Gold joined the 6th Recruitment Day 2014 of Hong Kong United Youth Association held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 7 June, 2014. Mr. Cheung Kin-chung, the Director of the Labor and Welfare Bureau, and Mr. Kenneth Fok were invited as the main speakers and shared their views on how to land jobs. The senior investment advisor and administration trainees of First Gold shared their experience of joining First Gold during the last Recruitment Day in a bid to give job hunters a better understanding of the cultural background of the company. First Gold was interviewed by TVB and introduced the recruitment and expressed his opinions on the talent market. The company received over two hundred applications that day, and the recruited talents will serve as new blood for the company.

With the huge success from last year “Tram Party”, First Gold organized a “Bus Party” this year on the 5th June in order to recruit potential candidates who have similar visions with our company.

The bus parade started in Wan Chai and passed through Mong Kok, Hung Hom, Causeway Bay and Admiralty. With the cooperation and great effort from our employees, we successfully attracted a lot of pedestrians’ attention and invited them to participate in the up-coming recruitment events.

First Gold joined the Meeting on China's Gold Policy and Qianhai's Future Development held in Qianhai by the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society as the director and supervisor and shared his experience and thoughts with attendants to facilitate future development.

Adhering to the belief of benefiting from and benefiting society for more than twenty years, First Gold is committed to nurturing talents and helping people of different classes in Hong Kong, especially those who are likely to be future pillars of the society. First Gold once sponsored the Global Business Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong so that they could pick the best candidates to represent Hong Kong in Peak Time 2014 and compete with international business students.

The representatives competed with other students from over sixty countries in Peak Time 2014, a three-day event held in Stockholm School of Economics from 2 to 4 May, 2014, regarding issues of different sectors of economics.

The seminar on Green Office, co-organized by World Green Organization and the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society on 11 March, 2014 centered on ways to make Green Office more competitive and attracted over one hundred arrivals. Dr. William Yu, the Founder and Chief Executive of WGO, exchanged his views with other enterprises to promote green office measures and encourage enterprises to continuously practice green office.

Committed to benefiting communities, First Gold always shoulders social responsibilities and has been playing a part in promoting green office. Joining the Green Office Awards Labeling Scheme launched by WGO, First Gold, together with its counterparts such as the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society, HK Electric, RoadShow and Dah Chong Hong Holdings Limited, has been cutting expenses on energy consumption, developing green communities and enhancing environmental awareness of its staff.

Mr. Haywood Cheung, the President of the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society, Mr. Rando Yuan, the Manager of Environment, Society and Governance of Sa Sa International Holdings Limited and Mr. Gary C.C. Hui, the Senior Design Manager of Leigh and Orange Limited, all shared their ideas of green office program and through which how to improve the companies' image.

The World Green Organization (WGO) is an independent non-profit organization concerned with environmental protection and environmentally related civil and economic affairs. It provides a holistic approach to a fully integrated three-pronged solution that combines social, environmental and economic aspects for a better Hong Kong.

The First Gold Annual Dinner "The Voice of First Gold 2014" was held on the third floor in the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong on March 1, 2014. More than 500 distinguished guests gathered together, making it a grand occasion. The distinguished guests included Mr. Hu Shengsheng, the Standing Deputy Director of China Credit Research Center of Peking University, Prof. Du Liqun, a Professor of the School of Economics of Peking University and the President of Institute of Credit and Law, and Mr. Haywood Cheung, the President of Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society, etc. All the guests were dressed in their finest attire to match the theme of "Super Star" and created a sparkling scene.

First Gold specially invited a pair of top-class emcees, Mr. King Kong Lee from Taiwan and Ms. Kitty Yuen from Hong Kong, to host the dinner party. The two emcees, talking cheerfully and humorously, perfectly combining their solemnness and wittiness, enlivened the atmosphere of the party. Furthermore, the wide variety of programs included a lucky draw with generous prizes worth over RMB 400,000 and an awarding session. The awards were designed to commend all the staff for their selfless devotion, such as Award of Long-term Service, Award of Excellent Performance, Award of Annual Outstanding Achievement and Award of Star-level Service. In addition, there were the Award of Best Costume and the Award of Best On-stage Demeanor for the singing competition. The winners were selected by First Gold's staff and the off-stage audience, each casting their vote.

The key program of that night was the singing competition. They were the top five singers selected from the contestants from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. They had to defeat tens of contestants before the competition before coming to the stage. They exerted themselves to the utmost and sang whole-heartedly with sincere feelings and beautiful voices on the stage carefully prepared for them by First Gold. They did all they could do to move the audience, get as many votes as possible and win the championship.

First Gold even invited Mr. Zhong Weiqiang to the party. Mr. Zhong once participated in The Voice of China and was nicknamed the "Rock and Roll Old Imp". He sang several classic rock songs and struck a chord with the audience. The whole atmosphere reached a new climax. After that, Mr. Zhong Weiqiang, Mr. Haywood Cheung, the President of Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society, and First Gold staff sang the classic famous song "Friends" together. The touching lyrics, the pleasing melody and the upsurging passion moved everybody to tears. All distinguished guests and First Gold's staff spent a warm and memorable night together. Filled with happy memories, they enjoyed themselves to the full.

Every distinguished guest present at First Gold's dinner party had a glimpse of First Gold's unique corporate culture, and experienced its corporate spirit of selfless devotion and team cooperation; moreover, they could see its principle of "There is nothing best but better". That was why they would continue to unite with First Gold and strive hand in hand for glorious achievements.

Sponsored by First Gold, the 30th Anniversary Party of Union Li Chun Association and the Inauguration Ceremony of Honorary Director was held by the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society on 17 January, 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Leading a group of distinguished guests, First Gold joined the occasion and had exchanges and made friends with other attendants.

Apart from the amazing magic, dance and singing performances, Mr. Haywood Cheung, the President of the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society, sang "No More Hesitation" with all the guests present, bringing the party to a new high. The inauguration was also a spectacle with everyone proposing toasts and having pleasing conversations.
