With a strong sense of social responsibility, First Gold is committed to charity and helping vulnerable groups. By sponsoring the Happy Three-Player Basketball Game organized again by the Hear Talk Foundation this year, First Gold aims to spread awareness of protecting hearing and awaken more people to hearing protection by channeling all the raised proceeds into helping people with hearing impediment, in particular children and teenagers.

The competition was held on 18 October, 2015 in Mong Kok Stadium. First Gold sent a basketball team of three players to compete in two games. They meshed perfectly with both offense and defense, earning points with their seamless cooperation. Cheerleaders also stood aside, cheering for the teams and boosting morale. Bearing in mind the value that friendship is the most important in a game, all the players competed in intense games to play a part in the charity cause.

The First Gold hopes that their contributions to and involvement in charity cause will help those in need, realize the purpose of the competition "To hear our lives around, to promote equality and improve the wellbeing of the people with hearing impediment" and eventually build a harmonious society.

Upholding the spirit of public welfare service, First Gold participated in the fund-raising activity of Dress Casual Day for the fourth consecutive year on Thursday, October 8, 2015. First Gold's staffs donated their money and partook in this charity activity enthusiastically. First Gold wished to collect all donations for the vulnerable groups through actions and serve the Hong Kong society with loving kindness.

First Gold would donate all the money raised in the activity to the Community Chest of Hong Kong for philanthropic purposes. The Community Chest of Hong Kong would provide financial aid for its 155 member social welfare agencies this year. The wide variety of charity services included strengthening family members' relationships and protecting children's rights and interests, supporting the service to nurse and protect the elderly, assisting with physical and mental development of young people, protecting the equal rights of the physically-handicapped and the able-bodied as well as the chronically ill, and promoting community relations. First Gold would continue to uphold the spirit of public welfare service, show its love and care for those in need, and contribute to the establishment of a harmonious society.

Sponsored by the Union Li Chun Association, the Gold & Silver Badminton Doubles Championship was held by the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society on 20 September, 2015 in South China Athletic Association, Causeway Bay.

First Gold sent three teams to compete for the championship and they went all out with perfect cooperation. Cheerleaders also stood aside, cheering and adding boost to their teams. After rounds of intense knockouts, the teams got more competitive and tougher. Following their success from one of the top 16 to the final, these three teams remained unfazed and finally made a clean sweep of the gold, silver and bronze medals with perfect cooperation and skills.

In this closely fought competition, they showed no signs of wavering but with great team spirit. First Gold always bears in mind that friendship comes first and is poised to work together with others to build on their current successes.

Established in 1995, the 20-year old Suicide Prevention Services has been serving people who are suicidal, despairing or in emotional distress by means of befriending and other services, helping them to regain control of their emotions and the will to live on, and sending the message of "cherishing live". With the theme of "Listen with Hearts for 20 years" this year, SPS aims to help those in despair get through their tough time and regain their vitality by accepting, listening to and caring for them.

With a philosophy of benefiting from and benefiting society and a strong sense of social responsibility, First Gold also contributed to the Poon Choi Banquet of caring for the elderly held by SPS at Laguna Palace Restaurant on 10 August. This February, First Gold also participated in the SPS Charity Walk as its Silver Patron. And now it is involved again as the Golen Patron. Nearly three hundred seniors attended the banquet, enjoying delicacies and rich performances of two actors. Kwong Wah and Joe Junior got on the stage to sing a song with seniors' face wreathed in smiles and happiness.

Dedicated to charity cause, First Gold always stands ready to participate in and contributes to charity activities by taking opportunities and seeking partnerships with other organizations.

The scorching summer is the best season for traveling. In order to thank all the staff for their hard work and selfless devotion in participating numerous large-scale activities, the company organized the 2015 First Gold Taiwan Trip from August 6 to 9, 2015. All staff could just let go of their work for the moment, enjoy themselves with feasting and other kinds of entertainment and have a great time.

First Gold carefully arranged a full itinerary for its staff. Besides visiting various art exhibitions and myriad creative shops, they together toured in famous scenic spots and appreciated beautiful natural landscape, including the amazing scene of sunset. First Gold also brought its staff to the popular shopping places and night markets in Taiwan. They even went to the most popular open-air rooftop restaurant and tasted all the local delicacies there. The full itinerary and careful arrangement brought everybody a journey full of beautiful memories.  

The trip rendered the staff mentally relaxed, relieved their work pressure, brought them closer to each other, and improved the cohesiveness among departments. First Gold would exert itself as usual but with better mentality to meet new challenges and reach a higher level in the days to come.  

The Shanghai Gold Exchange and the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society announced to formally open the Shanghai - Hong Kong Gold Connect. While investors from Hong Kong were entitled to directly engage in the gold transactions in Mainland China, investors from both Mainland China and Hong Kong would experience improved services. The launching ceremony was held in Grand Hall on the third floor, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on July 10, 2015. First Gold, as the service ambassador designated by the conference, also spared no efforts to assist with preparations.

This grand event in the precious metals industry welcomed more than 1700 guests. Well & Well Financial Holdings Group and First Gold together led over sixty staff of First Gold to the scene to show support. The conference invited Mr. John Tsang Chun-wah, the Financial Secretary of Hong Kong S.A.R., to be the officiating guest while Ms. Qiu Hong, the Vice Director of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mr. Shen Gang, the Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Gold Exchange, Ms. Cao Yuanyuan, the Director of Financial Market Department of the People's Bank of China, Mr. Wang Jinding, the Vice President of the China Gold Association, and other important members of the government and the commercial world attended the event as well.

The cocktail party of that night was a prelude to the formal launching ceremony. After the distinguished guests delivered their speeches and group photos were taken, the host had all the guests witnessed the first two-ton gold transaction at the scene. On the same day there was even the Inauguration of the 44th Term Executive and Supervisory Committees of CGSE. Ms. Qiu Hong, the Vice Director of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, was invited to host the inauguration and supervise the oath-taking. One of the First Gold representatives also attended the ceremony as a candidate member of the CGSE Executive and Supervisory Committees. After the appointment letter was granted, the inauguration also came to an end.

The Charity Snooker Match sponsored by the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society was held in the World Snooker Club 147 on 4 July and attracted many players.  Mr. Steven Chan, the Director of the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society, Dr. Haywood Cheung, the Permanent Honorary President of Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society and First Gold were also present to show their support. The players were highly competitive and were poised to give a shot.

Sparing no efforts to support charity cause, First Gold sent five players to compete with its staff joining the game as cheerleaders to boost morale. The competition chose the best two out of three teams. It was a game with many highlights as players went all out to give their best shots. One of the fives earned a spot in the finals and finally came third after competing with others with tough spirit and extraordinary skills.

During the finals held on 1^st August, the committee invited Mr. Ding Junhui, the world-class snooker player and Ms. Ng Onyee, a famous Hong Kong player, to compete with each other in an intense and unprecedented game with Mr. Ding Junhui beating Ms. Ng Onyee by 3:1. Upon the successful completion of the match amid cheers and applause, each of the five players of First Gold was given a snooker display with Mr. Ding Junhui's autograph.

First Gold was proud to have the privilege for inviting two-term former Chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve and well-known economist, Dr. Ben S. Bernanke as a key speaker to present his perspectives on global economic landscape at an exclusive private luncheon. Mr. Teymoor Nabili, an international journalist and current Channel News Asia TV news anchor, was the host of the moderated Q&A session and Ms. Astrid Chan was the MC of this event.

Different representatives of the financial sectors to regional media, including Well & Well Financial Holdings Group, First Gold, General Manager of Xin Hua News Agency, Mr. Wen Xinnian, President of CGSE, Mr. Steven Chan, Investment Director at Far East of World Gold Council, Mr. Roger Liu and chief editors from CNN International, Bloomberg News, Wall Street Journal etc., were honoured to be present at the event.

First Gold presented Dr. Bernanke a First Gold Coin as memento, implicating First Gold is going to a golden era. He also took the precious opportunity to be on the same stage with Dr. Bernanke to introduce the RMB kilo bar as well as RMB’s role in the world economy. With Mr. Teymoor’s engaging style, Dr. Bernanke offered his keen insights and analysis of the current global economic trends, RMB internationalisation, the role of gold in global market, AIIB and his speciality, quantitative easing.  The moderated Q&A session was a definite success, culminating in an inspiring session.  Guests who attended the event were totally given their fair share of knowledge on the current economic trend and financial system.

The First Gold Annual Dinner 2015 "Shanghai Golden Night" was held in the Banquet Hall, Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen on March 28, 2015. The dinner party was crowded with nearly one thousand distinguished guests. Celebrities from all walks of life gathered at the party, including Prof. Zhang Zheng, the Party Secretary of School of Economics of Peking University and the Vice Dean of School of Economics, Prof. Du Liqun, a Professor of School of Economics of Peking University and the President of Institute of Credit and Law, Mr. Hu Shengsheng, the Standing Deputy Director of China Credit Research Center of Peking University, and Mr. Steven Chan, the President of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society. The evening was filled with sensational scenes and glowed with passion.

First Gold invited Ms. Chen Anyun, a participant in the selection competition for The Voice of China, to sing ten classic old songs of Shanghai at the cocktail party. These nostalgic old songs seemed to take the audience on a time machine to the Shanghai Paramount in the old days. First Gold specially invited two emcee stars, Mr. Bob Lam, a famous host from Hong Kong, and Ms. Zhang Jiaxin, a host of Shenzhen TV Station in Mainland China, to form a brand new emcee line-up. Their seamless cooperation and witticisms excited the audience. The wide variety of wonderful programs immersed the audience in a nostalgic mood of old Shanghai and a joyous atmosphere. Later that evening was the highly expected lucky draw, awarding winners money and prizes worth more than RMB 500,000 in total. There was even an awarding session to commend the First Gold team for their selfless devotion to the company in the past. The prepared awards included Award of Excellent Performance, Award of First-class Service, Award of Super Elites' Contribution, Award of Enormously-improved Performance, Award of Annual Excellent Performance and Award of Excellent Team Spirit. First Gold also showed the distinguished guests the 35th anniversary commemorative issue of the establishment of Well & Well Financial Holdings Group, "Innovative Heights - Create the First Legend", and formally introduced First Gold's upcoming new website. CEO Mr. Sammy So and Director Dr. Raymond Choi then awarded two BMWs, each worth RMB 300,000, to two customers who won the prize of the campaign "A limousine for a newly-opened account".

And right after that was a dance show choreographed by First Gold staff. The dance struck the distinguished guests as a brilliant performance. The audience became so excited that they responded with a storm of applause, enlivening the atmosphere to the climax.  

All the programs were linked with one another and each of them was spectacular. Upon First Gold's invitation, Mr. Hins Cheung, a well-known singer in Hong Kong, sang a few songs as the last but one program. The audience was enchanted with the touching singing and burst into unceasing applause. At last, First Gold staff came to the stage and performed many famous classic songs , including Glorious Years, Red Sun, Existence, We are the World, and We are the Champions. The touching scene moved everybody to tears. Thanks to these ingeniously-arranged programs, everybody enjoyed themselves to the full and spent a warm and unforgettable night together. The dinner party came to an end in the sound of joy.

First Gold always embraces the belief of "From the society and for the society", actively fulfills its social duties, and participates in different kinds of charity activities. The Suicide Prevention Services organized the SPS Charity Walk in the Tai Tam Country Park on February 8, 2015. First Gold was involved in this charitable event and contributed its own bit. Not only did First Gold become a Silver Patron, but also assign its volunteer team to demonstrate its commitment to the well-being of the general public.

In the starting ceremony, Charity Ambassador Ms. Li Zhishan, a movie and TV star, and singer Mr. Tsui Chi-yong "Siu fei", led over 500 participants to advocate loving and cherishing life to the public, and prayed with love and care for the people with suicidal tendency and emotional disturbance so that they could face their life positively. 

The walking route of the SPS Charity Walk encircled the Tai Tam Country Park once with a total length of about 5 kilometers. All the First Gold volunteer team members and their family members finished the whole journey. The participants appreciated the beautiful landscape of Hong Kong, went on a park tour and had a joyful family gathering. Through this event, First Gold aimed to arouse people's attention and support to suicide prevention.
