First Gold Charity Fund Sponsors Junior Chamber International to Visit Elderly in Hong Kong
Hong Kong

The First Gold Charity Fund has fully sponsored an elderly visit activity co-organized by Junior Chamber International (JCI) branches, namely the JCI Victoria and JCI Lantau, and the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, Tai Wo, Neighbourhood Elderly Centre. Under the theme of “Inspiring Well-being, Across Generations”, the socially meaningful activity echoes with the 29th Grandparent’s Day, a flagship charity project of JCI Victoria.

Volunteers from the First Gold Charity Funds visited our senior citizens’ home in groups and delivered care packs assisting their daily living. In particular, volunteers had a terrific and heart-warming visit with our senior citizens who shared with them their moving stories and various antidotes.

Since 1990, JCI Victoria has named every second Sundays in October as the "Grandparents' Day", which aims to promote the message of respect and caring of our elderly, cherishing family time and fostering harmonious relationship across generations. The First Gold Charity Fund is committed to continuing support on the activity to play a role in enhancing the well-being of the city’s Grandparents.

With the motto of "Sharing love, giving love, having love—To Be Love", First Gold Charity Fund, established in 2016, commits to leading the communities to love without boundaries, to extend the spirit of selflessness and to create a harmonious world.
