First Gold Charity Fund Sponsors the Spring Charity Barefoot Walk for Children 2018 Organized by World Vision
First Gold Charity Fund
proudly sponsored the Spring Charity Barefoot Walk for Children 2018, an annual
fund-raising event organized by World Vision to provide much-needed assistance
to the Republic of South Sudan, a war-torn country since 2013, leaving 3.9
million of South Sudanese to be homeless, and another 6 million to suffer from
war-afflicted agriculture and extreme weather. It is stating the obvious but in
the midst of war, civilians often bear the brunt of war and violence. In view
of this, First Gold Charity Fund Volunteer Team gathered their friends and
relatives to participate the event with an aim to make a positive difference to
South Sudanese.
Along with the Volunteer
Team, First Gold management had a 4km-barefoot walk to experience the displaced
life suffered by South Sudanese children. Exhibition booths are designed to
enable participants to have a better understanding on Sudanese’s plight of
fleeing their homes, starvation and disease. Deeply concerned by the Sudanese’s
battle-ravaged life, our volunteers will continue to inspire good actions in
others, and devote themselves to the socially disadvantaged.
The mission of World Vision
Hong Kong is to bring positive and long-term changes to children, families and
communities living in poverty. World Vision organizes long-term ‘Area
Development Programmes’ worldwide to promote public education, and raise public
awareness about global issues such as poverty, hunger, health and child rights.
With the motto of "Sharing
love, giving love, having love—To Be Love", First Gold Charity Fund,
established in 2016, commits to leading the communities to love without
boundaries, to extend the spirit of selflessness and to create a harmonious
