First Gold Participates in “Jump to The Future” – Relay Rope-skipping Challenge Day for Charity
Organised by the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society and
co-organised by the Hong Kong Rope Skipping Association, China, the “‘Jump
to The Future’ – Relay Challenge Day for Charity” was grandly held
in Discovery Park, Tsuen Wan on 16 September. On that day, honourable guests
from political, business, sports and performing arts sectors, such as Mr.
Rimsky Yuen Kwok-Keung, the Secretary for Justice, and Mr. He-Jing, the Deputy
Director of LOCPG in Hong Kong SAR, attended to support the event.
In the event, 40 rope-skipping athletes jointly broke a new world
record by performing front somersaults for 145 times with a long rope.
Moreover, within 4 hours 20 First Gold staff together with 2,000 people in the
event to break a Hong Kong record for all participants in relay rope-skipping
for 30 seconds. To acknowledge First Gold being the event sponsor, and showing
supports and passions to rope-skipping, the organiser issued a certificate of
appreciation to First Gold representative on stage.
The fund raised in the event, which was more than HK$1.7 million, would
benefit the mental health services scheme of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, and
Hong Kong rope-skipping athletes as the expenditure for participating in
international competitions. The remaining amount will be allocated to the
Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society Charity Fund. First Gold hopes for
even more fund raised in the upcoming charity events to benefit and bring joy
to the community.
