"How a Green Office Can Enhance Competitiveness?" Seminar by World Green Organization

The seminar on Green Office, co-organized
by World Green Organization and the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society on
11 March, 2014 centered on ways to make Green Office more competitive and
attracted over one hundred arrivals. Dr. William Yu, the Founder and Chief
Executive of WGO, exchanged his views with other enterprises to promote green
office measures and encourage enterprises to continuously practice green
office.
Committed to benefiting communities, First
Gold always shoulders social responsibilities and has been playing a part in
promoting green office. Joining the Green Office Awards Labeling Scheme
launched by WGO, First Gold, together with its counterparts such as the Chinese
Gold and Silver Exchange Society, HK Electric, RoadShow and Dah Chong Hong
Holdings Limited, has been cutting expenses on energy consumption, developing
green communities and enhancing environmental awareness of its staff.
Mr. Haywood Cheung, the President of the
Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society, Mr. Rando Yuan, the Manager of
Environment, Society and Governance of Sa Sa International Holdings Limited and
Mr. Gary C.C. Hui, the Senior Design Manager of Leigh and Orange Limited, all
shared their ideas of green office program and through which how to improve the
companies' image.
The World Green Organization (WGO) is an
independent non-profit organization concerned with environmental protection and
environmentally related civil and economic affairs. It provides a holistic

environmental and economic aspects for a better Hong Kong.
