First Gold always stays true to the belief that ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’ and strives to fulfill its corporate social responsibility. This year marks the tenth consecutive year where First Gold has received the ‘Caring Company’ Logo and Certificate and has been selected for the ‘10 Year Plus Caring Company’ award type. This award is a recognition for First Gold’s commitment to public welfare and charity over the past 10 years. It is meaningful as it reflects First Gold’s spirit and determination in caring for the community and socially vulnerable groups.

 

First Gold has always spared no effort in charitable work and has been striving to promote the development of local and international charity for a long time. Over the years, it has accumulated at least 20 charity partners, including World Vision, Orbis, Power of Love, Food Angel, Heifer Hong Kong, etc. At the same time, First Gold actively organizes and sponsors a variety of local and overseas charitable projects in different scales, including elderly visits, flag days, walkathons, charity sales, and promotion of environmental protection, etc.

 

Locally, to implement and promote the long-term development of charitable services, First Gold Charity Fund was established by First Gold to contribute to the society with the motto of 'Sharing love, giving love, having love—To Be Love'. For example, First Gold has sponsored and sent volunteers to participate in ‘Spring Charity Barefoot Walk for Children’, offering assistance to South Sudanese children and families in need. It has also co-organized the large-scale charitable project, 'Love for Parkinson's', with Hong Kong Parkinson's Disease Association.

 

Internationally, borders do not stop First Gold from striving to make contributions to communities and people in need and spreading love to all parts of the world. For instance, it became the title sponsors of the Australian 'Feel My Heart for Charity' fundraising dinner and the Cambodian LRDE 'Child Sponsorship Program', which embodies First Gold's spirit of caring for the world.
