Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre

First Gold always stays true to the motto that ‘it is better to give than to receive’ and seeks to fulfil its corporate social responsibility. This year marks the ninth consecutive year where First Gold has received the ‘Caring Company’ Award and Certificate issued by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The award is both a recognition for First Gold’s commitment in corporate social responsibility and its outstanding performance in caring for the community, employees and the environment.

On the day of the award ceremony, First Gold participated in the caring company partnership Expo, an annual signature event of the Caring Company scheme to interact with more than 130 participating social enterprise organisations. Through approaching and discovering one another, it has been abled to expand the scope for cooperation and helped promoting a cross-sector community project targeted for societal needs. A representative from First Gold also expressed that, First Gold has been organising and participating in various activities to support the disadvantaged and promote community development and improvement for the environment. For more and by intention, First Gold has also introduced and improved several employee-friendly policies this year, including to entitle employees to enjoy the newly designated anniversary leave, birthday leave and examination leave, by which to create better life experience for them and their families.

Looking forward to the future, First Gold will continue to act as an activist, to create a harmonious society under collaborative efforts through fulfilling corporate social responsibility with selfless dedication, and initiating strategic partnerships with public organisations, business sectors and charitable organisations.
