The Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange (‘CGSE’) opened trading on the 20th of February 2018, the first trading day in the year of the Dog, celebrating the Chinese New Year and wishing everyone a splendid year. As per the traditions of the CGSE, the first trading day after Chinese New Year will be an auction trading by Dr. Haywood Cheung, CGSE President, Mr. Wilson Cheng, Vice President and Mr. Tse Moon Chuen, and witnessed by Mr. Joseph Chan, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury. First Gold management was invited to the market opening ceremony and gave out red pockets, wishing everyone good wealth and fortune.
